The screen resolution or display resolution of a monitor(television, computer screen or display device is the number of pixels in each dimension that can be displayed. It is usually cited as width × height, in pixels: Example, "1920 × 1080" means the width is 1920 pixels and the height is 1080 pixels. This example would typically be voiced as "nineteen twenty by ten eighty".
